2:00 Hudson On Bass |
Hudson began his musical experience at the age of 10 when he began playing the trumpet (The school didn't have any basses). He had no idea that he would persue a music career later in life. "One day in my fourth grade math class a teacher walked in and said, "Does anyone want to play a musical instrument"? In a desperate attempt to get out of math class, I dropped everything I was doing and ran out the class screaming, I do I do!!! Needless to say when I got to college I failed math. Hudson went on from there to recieve a full scholarship in music to Bowie State Unversity. He continued to play in the marching, pep, concert, and the jazz bands at the university and progressed to the lead trumpeter for all of these ensembles. Before he was even a senior at the school he began performing locally and nationally. |
